Logic Technology B.V., established at Van Horneplein 6, 6019 BW  Wessem, The Netherlands, is responsible for the processing of personal data as described in this privacy policy.

Processing of personal data

Logic Technology B.V. processes your personal data when you make use of our services, or when this data is provided to us by yourself. Below you will find a list of the personal data that we process:

  • First and last name
  • Gender
  • Address
  • Telephone number
  • Email address
  • IP address
  • Other personal data that you willingly provide us with, for example when you make an account or profile on our website, or through communication by email and telephone
  • Data about your activities on our website
  • Data about your surfing behaviour across different websites (because we host additional websites, like embeddedplaza.com)
  • Internet browser and device type
  • Bank account number

Processing of sensitive personal data

Our website and/or services do not intend to gather data of website visitors who are below the age of 16. Unless they have permission from their parents/guardian. However, we cannot verify if a visitor is older than 16. We advise parents to be involved in the activities of their children in order to avoid the collection of children’s personal data without parental consent. If you are convinced that we gather said information without the required consent, please contact us via info@logic.nl and we will delete this data.

Goals and grounds for personal data processing

Logic Technology B.V. processes your personal data for the following reasons:

  • Processing your payment
  • Sending our newsletter and/or advertisements
  • Calling/emailing you when needed, should the correct handling of our services require so
  • For informing you about changes to our products and services
  • To offer you the possibility for making and managing an account
  • To deliver goods and services you ordered
  • Logic Technology B.V. follows your surfing behaviour across different websites, with which we align our services and products to your needs
  • Logic Technology B.V. also gathers personal data when we are lawfully obligated to do so, for example the data needed for our tax returns.

Automatic decision-making

Logic Technology B.V. does not use systems that, based on automatic decision making, make decisions that can be of (significant) influence to people. This involves decisions that are made by computer programmes or systems, without the interference from human individuals (like employees from Logic Technology B.V.).

How long we will store your data

Logic Technology B.V. stores your personal data for the longest period mentioned in the following statements:

  • When third parties like the IRS/Belastingdienst and our suppliers prescribe the data needs to be retained
  • Up to a maximum of five years following the ending of our last agreement (as is included in the agreement), unless we have a justified and/or serious reason to keep the data for a longer period (as with the case of judicial procedures or license use)
  • As long as you are actively using your account page on our website www.logic.nl and www.embeddedplaza.com

Sharing personal data with third parties

Logic Technology B.V. will not sell your data to third parties and will only disclose this information when necessary for the completion of our services to you or to comply with an obligation by law.

Third parties can be entities such as IT-service providers (Yoda-ICT), newsletter hosting (like Spotler), financial service providers and suppliers with whom you have signed a contractual agreement. The supplied data are saved on encrypted  servers within The Netherlands.

Additionally, we might provide personal data to third parties when this is required in order to fulfil our services. This could be a supplier or manufacturer of the product or service that you ordered from Logic Technology. The parties who are involved can be based outside of The Netherlands or the EU, or might process data in these locations. There will be no data shared if unnecessary.

Furthermore, parties like the IRS/Belastingdienst can oblige us by law to share data to third parties.

We will not share your personal data with other entities, unless we consider in good faith that this sharing of data is justified.

Cookies or similar techniques we use

Logic Technology B.V. uses functional, analytical and tracking cookies. A cookie is a small text file that is downloaded to your device’s browser at the time of your first visit to our website.  Logic Technology B.V. uses cookies with a pure technical functionality. These make sure that the website functions as intended and that, for example, your preferred settings are saved. These cookies are also used to make sure the website functions correct and enables us to optimize the website. We also place cookies that give us insights in your surfing behaviour on our website, so that we can offer tailored content and advertisements.

At the time of your first visit to our website we have informed you about these cookies and asked you for permission to use them.

You can opt for not using the cookies by changing the settings of your internet browser so that it will no longer save cookies. You can also delete all prior data that was saved by deleting these cookies through your browsers settings.

When you visit the website, we will gather the following data:

  • Browser data;
  • Duration of your visit;
  • Page that you visit;
  • Links that you click;
  • Geographical data based on your IP-address
  • Connection data, such as your IP-address

With help of Google Analytics and other analytical cookies we track how our website is used.  This way we can tell which parts of the website are popular and how to improve the quality of the website. The information that is gathered with the help of Google Analytics is encrypted (via SSL) and saved by and to Google on servers in several countries in the EER and outside. The last 8 characters of your IP-address is masked, therefore Google cannot process your complete IP-address and it is also impossible for us to trace back any information to individuals. Requesting, changing or deleting data

You have the right to request insight to your personal data, or to adapt or delete this data. You can do this yourself through the personal settings of your account. Furthermore you have the right to revoke your permission for data gathering or to object against the processing of this data by our company, as well as the right of data transfer. This means that you can submit a request with us to transfer your personal data as it is known with us to you or to a third party via a computer file.

If you want to make use of your right to object and/or your right for data transfer or if you have a different question about data processing, please send a specified request to info@logic.nl.

In order to verify that the request for insight into your personal data is made by you, we ask you to include a copy of your ID with your request. In this copy, please black out your picture, MRZ (machine readable zone, the string of numbers on the bottom of your passport), passport number and social security number. This is for protection of your privacy. Logic Technology B.V. will react to your request as soon as possible, but within 4 weeks at the latest.

A request does not have to be met by us in case we have a justified and/or serious argument and/or if the compliance to this request can be refused on legal grounds.

Furthermore, it can be the case that, when one of the rights mentioned above are appealed for, we are no longer able to perform our services to you. In this case we are authorized to cancel the agreement and we are: (1) not obligated to further perform our services, and we are (2) authorized to claim payment of already fulfilled services, (2b) reimbursing already made costs, (2c) a compensation for missed revenue.

How we secure personal data

Logic Technology B.V. takes the protection of your data serious and takes appropriate measures in order to avoid abuse, loss, unauthorized access, unwanted publication and unauthorized modifications. If you are under the impression that your data is not secured sufficiently, or if there are clues of abuse, please contact our customer service or via info@logic.nl

Right of complaint about usage of personal data

In case of a complaint or question about the processing of personal data you can send an email to info@logic.nl. We ask you to include as much information regarding the complaint or question as possible. We will take care of the complaints/questions, and react within 4 weeks at the latest. In case you are not satisfied about the handling of the complaint, you can contact the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens and file a complaint there if needed.
