Today Datalight released a new version of its Reliance Nitro File System, the first product to offer software support for file level secure delete, utilizing features defined by the e•MMC 4.40 and 4.41 specifications. The secure delete feature in Reliance Nitro purges all the file data, including any hidden copies created by the file system to safe-guard reliability, when a file is copied or altered by the file system to ensure a completely secure erase. Assuming the complimentary hardware support, users can be confident that every instance or fragment of a file will be permanently deleted and therefore unrecoverable.

Keil™announces immediate support for the Holtek HT32F125x family in the Keil MDK-ARM.
The HT32F125x family, of the ARM® Cortex™-M3-based devices, are supplied in 48-pin LQFP package type with up to 32 GPIO pins. The family consist of 8KB – 32KB of Flash Program Memory, 2KB – 8KB of SRAM Data Memory together with an 8-channel 12-bit 1Msp high speed A/D converter and multiple General Purpose Timer Modules. The devices include multiple power management modes, a power-on-reset (POR), Programmable Low Voltage Detector (LVD), and brownout detection (BOD). The Fujitsu MB9A1xx family, based on the ARM® Cortex™-M3 core, extends the FM3 family to a total of 96 devices. The family features advanced peripheral functions from the FR family including high speed 12 bit A/D converters, a rich array of timers, and USB 2.0 Host/Function.
