Summary:
This course is intended for engineers writing software to run on systems containing an ARM processor core, using the RealView range of software development tools.
N.B. This course is not suitable for engineers using the Cortex-M3. We offer several specific Cortex courses, please contact us for more information.
Prerequisites:
- A basic understanding of microprocessors or microcontrollers
- Familiarity with assembler or C programming
- Embedded programming experience would be helpful, but is not essential
- A basic awareness of ARM would be useful but not essential.
Audience:
This course concentrates on the use of RealView Developer Suite (RVDS). Much of the information is relevant to users of ARM Developer Suite (ADS). However some information will be less relevant to users of 3rd Party software development tools.
